Il Duello.. the kitchen battle

My friends and I planned to visit Il Duello yesterday for some authentic Italian cuisine. I'm a sucker for pastas and pizzas.. makes me hungry again... :)

I was greeted by their friendly servers. Seated to a table and waited for my friends to arrive. They even gave me this yummy Bruschetta while  I waited for my friends.. :)

  Young, energetic and rising Chef Enrico Laviña, wearing his Kitchen Battle chef's jacket, spearheaded his team in creating classic Italian dishes using the freshest ingredients. Their vision is to have a taste of Italy in the heart of QC. Chef Rurik do the groceries everyday to ensure the freshness of the product. He also make sure that everything on the menu is available for guests to enjoy.


Being a fine dining resto, the place was cozy but it will not make you feel intimidated. It is a good place to hang out with friends and family and just chill.

We had the four cheese with shrimp and anchovies.. super good! its not on the menu because you can actually request our gracious chefs to create your own pizza.. :)

Il Duello did not disappoint us.. :) we had good food.. we had fun... :) For sure I'll bring my family here so they can also experience simple authentic Italian cuisine.  

Il Duello is located at Cocoon Boutique Hotel, Unit 1-D Scout Rallios, 1103 Quezon City, Philippines.

They also have a private function room for small events. They are open Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm for lunch, and 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm for dinner.
